ATHENS, Ga. --- The No 11 Georgia gymnastics teams takes to the road to continue SEC competition, facing No. 10 Arkansas in Barnhill Arena on Friday, January 26.  The GymDogs and Razorbacks will go head-to-head at 7 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. 
 
IN THE RANKINGS
Following the first win of the season for the GymDogs and first time head coach Courtney Kupets Carter, Georgia is ranked No. 11 on the RoadtoNationals.com weekly rankings list with an average of 195.950. 
 
The vault squad cracked the top-10, landing at No. 9 for the week with an average score of 49.050.  Georgia is ranked No. 11 and No. 13 on bars and floor, respectively, while sitting at No. 23 for beam. 
 
Sophomore Rachel Dickson ranks 20th on bars and 22nd on floor, while sophomore Sabrina Vega sits at No. 14 for beam and No. 16 on floor.  Senior Lauren Johnson ranks No. 25 on vault. 
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Arkansas is facing its fourth SEC opponent and is in search of its first win of the season against the Bulldogs.  
 
The Razorback beam squad ranks fourth in the nation with an average score of 49.200. Freshman Sophia Carter is the only Razorback that ranks within the top 25, sitting at No. 24 for beam. The team's second best event is vault, ranked No 11 and averaging a 49.025 after three meets. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Georgia GymDogs earned their first win of the season and first under head coach Courtney Kupets Carter, defeating the No. 16 Auburn Tigers, 196.725- 196.375, in front of a capacity-crowd of 10,284 at Stegeman Coliseum on Friday, January 19.
 
Four GymDogs earned scores of 9.9 or better throughout the meet.  Senior Lauren Johnson scored a 9.9 on vault.  Georgia performed strong on floor with junior Sydney Snead (9.925) and sophomore Sabrina Vega (9.950) both earning career high scores for the event, while Rachel Dickson added a 9.925.
