Pre-Collegiate Highlights:
• Originally a member of the Class of 2027 who announced on Friday, July 3, 2026 that she was reclassifying and enrolling at Georgia in the fall of 2026.
• When she signed with UGA, ranked as the No. 7 prospect among Class of 2027 golfers in the Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings.
• When she arrived on campus, ranked No. 45 in the world and No. 36 among U.S. golfers in The Universal Golf Rankings (TUGR), as well as No. 57 in the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) Rolex Rankings.
• Enjoyed an extremely strong 2026 campaign, with at trio of victories at the Arizona Junior Match Play Championship, the First Tee National Championship and an Underrated Tour stop in Gainesville, Fla., as well as top-10 finishes at three AJGA events – fourth at the AJGA Thunderbird Classic, sixth at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship and seventh at the Pete and Alice Dye Junior Invitational.
• Captured the 2026 First Tee National Championship in dominant fashion, shooting 10-under (68-67-65=200) en route to a 13-stroke victory in June in Chapel Hill, N.C.
• A standout on Steph Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour since its founding in 2022, competing in 23 events and recording 15 top-5 finishes including a quartet of wins at the inaugural season-ending Curry Cup at TPC at Harding Park in 2022, at both Palm Springs and Sawgrass in 2025 and in Gainesville, Fla. in 2026.
• Burst onto the scene in 2024 when she: 1) became the youngest ever winner of the Arizona Golf Association’s Women’s Match Play Championship and 2) then made her LPGA debut as a 15 year old that May in the Cognizant Founders Cup at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, N.J.
• Earned her spot in the Cognizant Founders Bup by winning The John Shippen Cognizant Cup, a series of events which aims to create opportunities and exposure in golf for Black men and women, as well as a pathway to the PGA and LPGA Tours for the nation’s top Black amateur and professional golfers.
• From 2018-20, competed extensively in Junior Golf Association of Arizona events. In 35 tournaments during that time frame, captured 13 wins and 15 top-5 efforts.
• Secured four more wins in JGAA tourneys since 2020 – the 2021 New Year Classic, the 2023 Chandler City Junior Championship, the 2024 Warren Schutte Invitational - PING Junior and the 2026 Arizona Junior Match Play Championship.
• Also competed in 16 Southern California PGA Junior Tour tournaments in 2021 and 2022, posting a victory at the 2021 Shandin Hills Spring Classic and 10 top-10 finishes.

• Born April 4, 2009, Ashley is the daughter of Doc Shaw and Sylvia Shaw and intends to major in Housing Management and Policy.
• Has a long history with the PGA Tour’s First Tee Foundation, serving as a volunteer coach and ambassador for eight years.
