Mark Robinson became Georgia football’s Chief of Staff in July 2024.  In his role, he helps oversee a number of areas, including team travel, on-campus recruiting, budgeting, creative media and the daily schedule for both players and coaches.

Prior to serving in a similar role at the University of Florida since January of 2024, Robinson spent the last 11 years as the Associate Athletic Director for football at Texas A&M (2018-23) and Florida State (2013-17) under Jimbo Fisher.  The nation’s top Director of Football Operations, according to Football Scoop following the 2015 season, Robinson also worked as the University of Arkansas Director of Operations for five years (2008-12) and served as the Texas A&M football operations assistant for five seasons (2003-07).
 
Robinson played on the offensive line at Appalachian State from 1998-2002, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications.  The Mountaineers were ranked in the top 10 in the nation in I-AA and earned playoff bids all five seasons.  He set the school record with a 615-pound squat lift and received the Strongest Player Award on the team his senior year.

He is married to the former Valerie Lynch and the couple have three children: Caroline, Rocco and Nate.
