			'Dogs Finish Strong With Three Straight Victories Over Ranked Teams 
			Georgia started strong with five straight wins to start the season, suffered a mid-season slump, but then rebounded to defeat three straight ranked teams to end the '06 campaign. It marked the first time in school history an unranked Georgia team defeated three consecutive ranked teams.The 'Dogs defeated #5 Auburn, #16 Georgia Tech, and #14 Virginia Tech to close out the season. It marked the sixth consecutive win over Tech. 
			 
			Down, 21-3 at halftime, Georgia recorded the largest comeback in the Mark Richt era to defeat the Hokies. The improbable season-ending run gave Coach Mark Richt 61 victories--one win behind LSU for most in the SEC over the past six years. During that time, Georgia also has a 25-2 record against non-conferen ce teams. 
			 
			 
			Georgia's Attendance Average Ranks Fifth Nationally 
			Georgia's average home football attendance of 92,746 ranked fifth best in the country for the 2006 season according to NCAA statistics. 
			The 92,746 figure represents a sellout in all seven Bulldog home games. The fifth-place finish marks the 20th time in the last 25 years that Georgia has ranked among the nation's top six teams in average home attendance.
