Beth Receives Bid To Ann Arbor Regional

April 29, 2026 | Women's Golf

Athens, Ga. — Georgia's Trinity Beth earned an individual invitation to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Wednesday. Beth, a freshman from Calvert City, Ky., will compete in the Ann Arbor Regional on May 10-13.

Five Fast Facts:
• Beth will be among 66 golfers competing in the Regional – 12 teams and six individuals – at the University of Michigan Golf Course. The top five teams and the low individual who is not a member of those five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships on May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
• Beth joined the Bulldogs in January as a mid-year enrollee and leads Georgia in both stroke average (71.41) and par-or-better rounds (11).
• The highlight of Beth's spring was leading Georgia to a sweep of the individual and team titles at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course on March 28-30. Beth shot 6-under 66 in the opening round, the best effort by a Bulldog in the tourney's 54-year history, and finished the 54-hole event at 10-under 206, a stroke off of the tournament record.
• In six tournaments, Beth has posted four top-25 and two top-10 individual finishes. She was named SEC Freshman and Golfer of the Week on February 25 and April 1, respectively.
• Georgia golfers have a long history of success competing in the national championships. Since 1979, Bulldogs have posted 27 top-20 individual finishes at the AIAW & NCAA Championships, including medalists Terri Moody (1981), Cindy Schreyer (1984) and Vicki Goetze (1992).

Key Quotes:
Head Coach Erika Brennan:
On the team's performance:
"Trinity arrived in Athens with a hunger to achieve at the highest level and she's off to a tremendous start. We are thrilled she earned a spot in the post-season and has risen so quickly in the national rankings. It's a testament to her work ethic, fearless play, and being so coachable. The sky is the limit for her and this is an incredible first step to a storied collegiate career."

Trinity Beth:
On the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Championships:
"Obviously I'm disappointed we don't get to get to go and compete as a team because the team aspect is such at big part of college golf. I am excited I'll get to go and compete for an individual national championship. I'm just focused on getting better and continuing to improve. I've never played in Michigan before so that will be a new experience for me, and I know that will be exciting."
