TEMPE, Ariz. – The sixth-seeded Georgia gymnastics team posted a 197.125 on Thursday in the second round of the NCAA Tempe Regional, punching its ticket to Saturday's Regional Final, its first Regional Final appearance since 2019.
Georgia placed second in the team standings, as (11) Michigan State is also moving on with a 197.350.

FAST FACTS
- Georgia advances to the NCAA Regional Final for the first time since 2019, the first year of the current format. It was also the last time Georgia punched its ticket to the National Semifinal round in Fort Worth.
- Sophomore Nyla Aquino paced the vault lineup, tying a career-best 9.950, her best vault of the season. Freshman Avery Moll added a 9.900 of her own as Georgia posted a 49.250 on vault to begin the meet.
- A trio of GymDogs each scored a 9.900 on bars to lift Georgia to a 49.425 on the event. Junior Ady Wahl and freshmen Kelise Woolford and Autumn Reingold each scored a 9.900 to lead the lineup. It was a season-best bars routine for Wahl.
- Woolford posted her second 9.900 of the afternoon, this time on beam, to lead the GymDog beam rotation, earning the event crown. It was Woolford's fourth beam event win of her rookie season.
- The GymDogs scored a 49.625 on floor to close out the meet. It was Georgia's best floor score in an NCAA Regional since 1998 (49.700) and tied the second-best score of the season.
- Georgia posted six scores of 9.900 or better on floor, the most this season. Sophomores Harley Tomlin and Aquino each won a share of the floor title with a 9.950. Tomlin tied her career high on the event for her first event crown of the season. Senior Eryn Williams tied a career best, and fellow senior Csenge Bácskay tied a season best, each with a 9.900 to lead off the floor lineups.
