Beth Leads Bulldogs In Second Round At SECs

Belleair, Fla. — Freshman Trinity Beth carded a 1-over 71 to pace the Georgia women's golf team en route to an 11-over 291 in Saturday's second round of the SEC Women's Golf Championships at Pelican Golf Club.
Five Fast Facts:
• Georgia trimmed four shots off its first-round effort and is at 26-over 586 through 36 holes, placing the Bulldogs in 15th place on the team leaderboard.
• In addition to Beth's 71, the Bulldogs also counted a pair of 72s from Gabriella Albert and Karoline Tuttle and a 76, the score posted by both Maria Eidhagen Harrouch and Sydney Givens.
• The Bulldogs teed off from No. 10 and played the back side of the Pelican Club layout at 1-under, combining tallies of 2-under by Beth, even-par by both Albert and Givens and 1-over by Tuttle.
• Georgia made a late push at No. 5 – the Bulldogs' 14th hole of the day – where Beth recorded an eagle and Eidhagen Harrouch and Tuttle both posted birdies.
• Following Sunday's third and final round of stroke play, the top-8 teams on the leaderboard will be seeded into a match play bracket to determine the SEC Champion.
