FORT WORTH, Texas – The Georgia gymnastics team scored a 197.2625 in the first session of the 2026 NCAA National Championship Semifinal at Dickies Arena on Thursday. Georgia finished third in the first session and sixth overall to close out the 2026 season.
 
FAST FACTS
  • Georgia's 197.2625 is the best team score posted by the GymDogs at the National Championships since scoring a 197.550 in the Super Six in 2014. Sixth place is Georgia's best finish since 2016 (third in the semifinal round, sixth in the Super Six).
  • Freshman Autumn Reingold anchored the Georgia bars lineup to open the meet with a team-high 9.9250. Her score held for a third-place finish in the first session and tied for sixth overall.
  • Junior Jaydah Battle and senior Ja' Free Scott each scored a 9.8625 on beam to lift Georgia to a 49.2500 in the second rotation.
  • Sophomore Nyla Aquino and freshman CaMarah Williams put up back-to-back scores of 9.9375 on floor to close out the third rotation. Their score concluded in a tie for second place in session I and tied for third overall. Junior Ady Wahl and sophomore Harley Tomlin each scored a 9.9000 in the rotation to aid the Bulldogs to a 49.5375, each finishing eighth in the session.
  • Georgia's 49.5375 on floor is the sixth-best floor score by the GymDogs ever in the NCAA Championship.
  • Aquino led the way on vault in the final rotation with a 9.9250 to place third in the first session. Wahl recorded a 9.8875 to finish in a tie for fourth in the session.
