ATHENS, Ga. — Fourth-ranked Georgia defeated Florida, 5-1, in the second game of the series at Foley Field on Saturday, to force the rubber match on Sunday.

Junior Dylan Vigue (3-1) got the start on the mound for Georgia, (29-7, 11-3 SEC) allowing only two hits, while striking out seven. Senior Caden Aoki received his fourth win of the season after relieving Vigue in the seventh, adding five strikeouts to end the game.
Junior Tre Phelps started things off early for the Dawgs with a leadoff triple, the second of his career, to extend his hitting streak to 10 games.
Florida (26-10, 8-6 SEC) tied the game 1-1 in the top of the third.
With the game tied in the eighth inning, senior Daniel Jackson kicked off the electric inning with a double.
Senior Jordy Oriach and Sophomore Henry Allen singled to bring in two runs.
Senior Ryan Black hit back-to-back doubles in the seventh and eighth inning.
Jackson, Lujo, Ty Peeples, and Allen scored to extend the Georgia lead to 5-1 going into the ninth.
Sophomore Rylan Lujo had a stellar performance with three hits in three consecutive at-bats, one run, and one stolen base, his fifth of the season.
