On slowing the game down….
"Part of slowing the game down is you'll see guys in the batter's box, and they're trying to think. You can't do it while you're inside, you have to do it outside."
#21 Jordy Oriach| UTIL | Sr.
On the four-run eighth inning…
"Our guys totally locked in. Our whole goal was to get [Liam] Peterson out of the game early because we knew that if he kept going, he was just going to keep going at us, and we just had to get to the pattern. That's what we did."
#27 Dylan Vigue| RHP | Jr.
About matchups on the mound ….
"It's definitely exciting. I love going against other top guys in the league. At the end of the day, it just comes down to focusing on the team and my own stuff. Whatever happens on the other side plays out during the game."
Up Next
Georgia will return to Foley Field tomorrow for the final game of the series. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. The game will be live on SECN+ and the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network.
