QUOTES
Head Coach Jamie Hunt

On the atmosphere and the fight to the win…
"Dawg Nation stepped up and showed out in full force. They were loud, and they were into it. Our guys love playing in front of the best fans in the country, super great atmosphere. South Carolina is a very good team. They're well-coached. They're tough. They have good doubles, and they're strong at every position. But our guys knew if we laid it on the line and played with heart and stepped up and played with guts and conviction that we were going to come through tonight."

On Noah Johnston's impact on the team…
"Credit to freshman Noah Johnston. I joke with him that he's not a freshman anymore because he's experienced everything out there, and he's no longer a freshman. He showed it tonight. He stepped up in a tremendous way and just won the match. The guy was not going to give it to him. He stepped up and won the match, and I couldn't be prouder of him and the guys. We're proud to move on, and we got to get ready for a tough match on Sunday."

Freshman Noah Johnston
On the fight to defeat South Carolina…
"We came out to battle. We were ready for it and so proud of our guys to keep fighting with every point and every match and just really happy I could get it done."
