ATHENS, Ga. – Five members of the University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team were invited to the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday morning.
The five Bulldogs, joined by four relay alternates, will head to Atlanta for the event, running March 18-21 at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center.
Freshman Kennedi Dobson leads the Bulldog delegation with No. 2 seeds in both the 500-yard and 1,650-yard freestyle, along with the 10th seed in the 200y freestyle. Fellow freshmen Clarke Neace and Elizabeth Nawrocki also received bids in their rookie campaigns, with Neace ranked 13th in the mile and Nawrocki seeded 24th in the 200y breaststroke.
Senior Ieva Maluka earned her third career invitation to the NCAA Championships, slotting 18th in the 200y butterfly and 20th in the 400y individual medley. Sophomore Marie Landreneau will make her second appearance, qualifying for the 200y (#22) and 500y freestyle (#24).
Georgia will compete in three relays at NCAAs, leading with the eighth-seeded 800y freestyle relay. The 800 free relay will compete in Wednesday's finals session, while the 200y freestyle and 400y freestyle relays will compete in timed finals during the morning sessions on Thursday and Saturday. In another change to the NCAA Championships schedule, only 'A' individual finalists will compete in the evening sessions.
