Georgia Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season with Four Distance Finishes at Yellow Jacket Invite

ATLANTA — Georgia track & field begins the outdoor season at Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track & Field Facility with four distance finishes on Friday night.

Fast Facts

Four Lady Bulldogs posted finishes in the women's 5000 meter race late Saturday evening.
Freshman Lauren Skeens crossed the finish line first for Georgia at 17:38.59 to secure 12th place.
Fellow freshmen Erin Musty and Maeve Waddell followed close behind, with Musty finishing in 15th place at 17:46.93 and Waddell right behind in 16th place at 17:48.32.
Graduate transfer Collette Lowengrub rounded out the Bulldog finishers crossing the line at 18:18.1.
