SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Patricija Paukstyte capped a dominant weekend with the singles and doubles championships Sunday at the Battle in the Bay Classic, winning the singles title without dropping a set after teaming up with Nadia Lagaev to claim the doubles crown at the California Tennis Club.

Fast Facts:

Paukstyte defeated Duke's Shavit Kimchi, 6-4, 6-2, in the singles final to complete a perfect run through the singles draw.
Paukstyte became the first Bulldog to win the Battle in the Bay singles title since Anastasiia Lopata captured the championship in 2024.
Paukstyte and Lagaev defeated UC Santa Barbara's Lily Pradkin and Marianne Angel, 8-6, in the doubles final.
The doubles championship marked the first tournament doubles title for Georgia at the Battle in the Bay Classic. Paukstyte and Lagaev won four matches en route to the championship after the Bulldogs previously reached the doubles final in 2022, when Guillermina Grant and Dasha Vidmanova finished as runners-up.
