BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Georgia junior outside hitter Bianna Muoneke has been named the first SEC Offensive Player of the Week of the 2025 season, the league announced on Monday.

"Bianna has a relentless work ethic, and the proof is in the level she's stepped up to this year," said head coach Tom Black. "Everything's better - her momentum, her vision, her choices - and it allows her powerful arm to work. She's a fierce competitor, and this is just the beginning for her."

Muoneke guided the Bulldogs to a pair of three-set sweeps on opening weekend, first sweeping the Samford Bulldogs on Friday, then the Troy Trojans on Saturday at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham. She averaged 5.00 kills per set (30 kills total) and hit .455 on the outside, committing just three errors on 55 attempts. She recorded 5.17 points per set for the offense on opening weekend.

The Cypress, Texas native recorded 18 kills at Samford, tying for the ninth-most all-time in a three-set match at UGA. She hit a very strong .485 in the match, dished out four assists, and had three digs. She laid down eight kills in the third set alone. Muoneke led the Bulldogs' offense against Troy, recording her second double-digit kill match of opening weekend, finishing with 12, hitting .500 in the match.

The award is Muoneke's first SEC weekly award of her career. She was a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2023 her rookie season at Texas A&M.
