Georgia Bulldogs Complete Round Two of NCAA Championship

CARLSBAD, CA. — The Georgia men's golf team teed off in the second round of the NCAA Championship this morning at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. Shooting against a field of thirty teams, the Bulldogs ended play tonight in 21st place at a collective 18-over.

FAST FACTS

Junior Carter Loflin ended the second round tied for 33rd after shooting six-over in Carlsbad. After his stellar first round he remains in the hunt at one-over overall.
Sophomore Grayson Wood maintained his position, tied for 80th at five over par after two days of play.
Senior Buck Brumlow, Senior George Langham, and Freshman Matt Moloney are all tied in 104th place at eight-over par.
No. 22 Georgia ended the second round of stroke play in 21st place. The leaderboard is currently topped by No. 5 Arizona State. The Podium is rounded out by No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 1 Auburn. The field is comprised of No. 1 Auburn, No. 9 Florida Statem No. 7 Florida, No. 4 Texas, No. 19 BYU, No. 12 Illinois, No. 29 Colorado, No. 49 California, No. 24 Texas Tech, No. 16 Vanderbilt, No. 46 Troy, No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 27 USF, No. 26 Georgia Tech, No. 3 Ole Miss, No. 21 Pepperdine, No. 39 San Diego, August, No. 40 Wake Forest, No. 11 Texas A&M, No. 42 New Mexico, No. 31 UNLV, No. 10 Virginia, No. 14 UCLA, No. 20 South Carolina, No. 23 Tennessee, and No. 36 Purdue.
