UGA Athletics Board Approves 2026 Budget

LAKE OCONEE, Ga. — A fiscal year 2026 budget of $223 million was unanimously approved by the University of Georgia Athletic Association Board of Directors at its annual spring meeting that concluded Friday.
The budget projection for 2026 represents a near 16 percent increase from the 2025 budget of $192.7 million. The 2026 number includes revenues of approximately $223 million, expenses of $219 million, and contingency of $4 million.
Day two agenda items also included presentations from student representatives Abby McCulloh and George Moore as well as a student wellness committee report from professor David Shipley.
