Bulldogs in Fifth After Day Two of SEC Tournament

SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, GA — The Georgia men's golf team ended round two of the 2025 SEC Championship in fifth place at the Sea Island Golf Course on Thursday Apr. 43. The Bulldogs shot a collective three-under on the day.

  • Senior Buck Brumlow led the Bulldog lineup in the second round, shooting one-under to secure T12.
  • Junior Carter Loflin followed, shooting one-under and ending the day T14. 
  • Sophomore Grayson Wood shot an impressive two-under par in the second round and rose to T28.
  • Freshman James Earle shot one-over in the second round of his first SEC Championship appearance to end the day T53.
  • Senior George Langham closed out play for Georgia T69 after shooting one-over par in Saint Simons.
  • No. 1 Auburn is now tied with No. 7 LSU for first place at 26-under par. The podium is filled out by No. 6 Oklahoma after shooting 18-under. The field is made up of No. 1 Ole Miss, No. 2 Auburn, No. 3 Texas, No. 7 LSU, No. 8 Florida, No. 15 Alabama, No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 18 Vanderbilt, No. 20 South Carolina, No. 26 Tennessee, No. 29 Mississippi State, No. 31 Georgia, No. 69 Kentucky, No. 90 Missouri, and Arkansas.

The Bulldogs will be back in action for the final round of the SEC Championship's Stroke Play tomorrow morning.
