Brooke Gleichowski Named to SEC Gymnastics Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Freshman Brooke Gleichowski was named to the 2025 Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Community Service Team, as announced by the league office on Friday, March 21.Â

Freshman Brooke Gleichowski is a member of Athens Church where she leads a small group of high school freshman girls, teaching lessons on Sundays and being a mentor and resource to the girls throughout the week.Â
Â
Gleichowski is also involved with Cornerstone Church where she volunteers at the food pantry. This includes packing meals and canned goods for those in need. Through the Cornerstone Food Pantry, Gleichowski helped feed over 700 families through packing meal kits.Â
Â
The freshman has also served the Special Olympics in Athens, helping provide experiences with the Georgia GymDogs to the participants.Â
Â
Gleichowski takes classes on Non-Profit management where she's had the opportunity to take field trips to various organizations. Namely, she visited Extra Special People (ESP) in Watkinsville, Ga. to learn about the operations of how ESP meets its goal of creating transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families.Â
Â
Gleichowski is a Sport Management major from Gainesville, Fla., specializing on the beam event for the GymDogs this season. She reached a career high 9.950 against Florida, a hometown meet for Gleichowski, and has completed seven career routines thus far in her freshman season.
