Camboro Named NCEA Horse of the Month

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association has named the University of Georgia's Camboro as March Horse of the Month, the association announced Wednesday.
Camboro was donated to the Georgia equestrian team in 2024 by Richard Thomas Jordan.
"Camboro is a new horse to the Georgia program and was donated to the team just last year," Assistant Jumping Seat Coach Anna Becker said. "Camboro started his collegiate career on the more nervous side and has since flourished and gained so much confidence in his new job. He is always happy to see you and always has his ears up when going around the jump course. He was the highest scoring fences horse during the double meet weekend, and he did not score below an 87 last week throughout two meets. We are so grateful to have such a kind and special horse as a part of our team!"
Camboro competes in Fences for the Bulldogs. He has recorded a season-high 95 twice this season, with three scores in the 90-or-above range.
Camboro and the rest of the Bulldogs are enjoying a beak before traveling to Mill Spring, North Carolina to compete in the 2025 SEC Equestrian Championships. The Bulldogs are hosting the event at the Tryon International Equestrian Center March 28-29.
