ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia swimmers Luca Urlando, Kennedi Dobson, and Sean Green received Southeastern Conference weekly honors, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Urlando was named SEC Men's Swimmer of the Week for the seventh time in his Georgia career, while Dobson and Green received SEC Freshman of the Week for the first time.

Urlando turned in a terrific performance last weekend, helping lead Georgia to a runner-up finish at the Georgia Tech Dual Meet Tournament. The Sacramento, California native picked up three individual wins and was a member of five victorious relays. In both butterfly events, he prevailed with NCAA cuts and the nation's No. 2 times in each, including the fifth-fastest 200 time of his career. He also won the 100y freestyle with the 10th-fastest time in program history.

Urlando was a member of two medley relays which both posted NCAA automatic qualifying times. In the 400y medley relay, his 44.11 butterfly split helped the Bulldogs notch the nation's top time, while his leadoff legs helped the 200y free and 200y medley relays post the second-fastest times nationally. Following the weekend, he now ranks top five nationally in five different individual events.

Dobson continued the outstanding start to her collegiate career with four individual wins, including a national-best 4:33.61 in the 500y freestyle against NC State. The Levittown, Pennsylvania native's time was the seventh-fastest in program history and made her the No. 5 Bulldog performer all-time.

In just four meets, Dobson already ranks top 10 all-time in three events for Georgia (200y free, 500y free, 1,000y free). She also placed first in the 200y backstroke (NCAA cut) and 200y IM, along with a third-place finish in the 100y freestyle. In relay action, she anchored both of Georgia's second-place relays, including the ninth-fastest 400y free relay in the country.

Green turned in a strong performance for the Georgia men throughout the weekend. In the 500y freestyle, the Rockaway Beach, New York native earned his first collegiate dual meet victory against George Washington before improving in his next two races, earning an NCAA cut of 4:17.24 against NC State, the 11th-fastest time nationally. Green also placed third in the 200y backstroke and posted a top 50 national time in the 200y butterfly.
